Empire Podcast Ep. 3 – UCF Primer/Delany’s Dozen

As always, Saturday can’t get here fast enough, as Ohio State will look for win number two at Ohio Stadium on the young season against the UCF Knights of Conference USA.

Listen to internet radio with Sports Intelligentsia on Blog Talk Radio

On the show last night on the Sports Intelligentsia Radio Network, we broke down week two’s match up with Orlando Sentinal UCF beat writer Iliana Limón, who gives us the insight on everything Knight football heading into week two.

We broke down the quarterback position, as Blake Bortles has really run away with the job since the middle point of the season last year. He made his first collegiate start last weekend and really shined. The former SEC tight end recruit is an elite athlete that might of been overlooked in high school. George O’Leary gives him the reins in confidence.

Limon also breaks down the athletes on this squad all over the field, and who will replace Latavius Murray in the backfield. We also talk the toll that the recruiting violations and pending bowl ban has put on this squad, and George O’Leary’s future with this program.

Then on the flipside, Andy Coppens of Delany’s Dozen joined us to talk about the upcoming Big Ten Schedule. We broke down all the games this week. Andy is the real deal folks. He brings it, even though he is a Badger….

That and more is in the podcast. Make sure you listen in on Saturday following the game for our post-game show as well where you can call in with your rants at (714) 242-5166!
