2014 five-star  prospect Justin Jackson of HCYA (Spring,Tx) recently cut his list to six.  The Buckeyes, Arizona, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Virginia & Washington are still in the mix for the small forward.

the 6’6 175lb Jackson who speaks with Coach Matta & Coach Boals the most  had the following to say when asked why Ohio State made the cut over so many other schools,  ” I like the Coaching Staff & feel at home with them”.

Since Jackson lives in Texas some Buckeye fans might not know much about the talented prospect.  I had the pleasure to ask Jim Hicks of RcsSports.com to break down the game of the 2014 OSU target, Jim had the following to say

” Justin has a very seasoned resume for an eleventh grader which includes a USA gold medal to receiving the Pete Maravich Award (annually granted to the Homeschooled player of the year).  Justin is one of those silky smooth players who scores fluidly (29 ppg/12 rpg/3bpg).  He possess one of the most productive mid range game where his main weapon is a one-handed floater (which often is released off the wrong foot and catches defenders off guard).  Justin pretty much maximizes his length which often gains possessions for his team as a result of getting his hands on rebounds out of his range.  He is currently #2 in the greater Houston class of 2014″.

NOTE:  I would like to Thank Justin & Jim for taking time to speak with me.
