New Ohio State Rivalry Uniforms for the Michigan Game

On November 18, 2013 by Ryan

Straight from OhioStateBuckeyes.com (the gallery has since been deleted), these have unofficially been dubbed “the stormtrooper uniforms” the Buckeyes will wear for the end of the regular season beat down of Michigan.  I like the all white, it’s not too flashy and still looks pretty traditional.  Hopefully the last 10 years or so traditions uphold and the Buckeyes come out with as few grass stains on these pearly whites as possible.

Is there a link to the OSU site that confirms this?

Andrew Elsass - the answer to your question: merchandising money. If they create alternative uniforms, people will want to buy them, so they will produce a limited quantity for a limited amount of time, a huge amount of people will want them (demand >>> supply), so the prices will be astronomical, and the university (mostly the athletic department) will make lots of American dollars off the team.

Because Ohio State is undefeated when wearing alt uniforms since 2009. Also, the players love wearing them.
