Pitcher Covers Home Plate, Makes Game Saving Tackle

 

After throwing a wild pitch that the catcher can’t handle, this pitcher does what a pitcher should do and covers home.  How he does it is pretty interesting.   Apparently this guy really didn’t want this run going on his ERA, so he stopped him from scoring with a tackle that even Roger Goodell would agree should be legal.  Needless to say I’d assume he was ejected, but hey at least he tried to make it look accidental…. yah not really.
