That’s right, they made “The Hangover 3.” This one, however, looks like it will actually be better than the second, but I’m still skeptical it can compete with the first. The story line appears to be at least a little bit different, as they don’t hint that they’ve lost anyone other than Alan’s dad at the funeral at the beginning. Bradley Cooper is coming off an Oscar nominated performance in the well-acted, but completely depressing “Silver Linings Playbook.” Zach Galifianakis was less than exciting in “The Campaign,” so hopefully he can bring back his actual self in Alan again. Adding John Goodman (a ton of movies) to the mix always helps, as well as the recently famous, completely hilarious Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) . The second one was awful in my opinion. Sure it had some funny parts, but even I can make a crowd full of people laugh 1 out of 100 jokes. It simply tried too hard instead of having the original funniness that was the first. I’m sure I’ll end up watching this in theaters like millions of other people, let’s just hope I don’t have to imagine Ed Helms’ scene in the Thailand strip club again… bleh.
By the way, Zach Galifianakis has a beautiful voice.
