What’s that you say? We are fucking nuts. We think what you meant to say is that we are so logical it’s scary. So stop all your Buckeye hating, slow your roll playa, and get ready to see Ohio State win its second National Championship.
- This might be the toughest back court in the country. We can see other teams really struggling to bring the ball up the court and get their team into their sets with Craft and Scott hounding fools like telemarketers. Aside from each of their great individual defense both have the ability to take cats off the dribble and get to the rim with ease. Let’s also not forget that the “swoon” factor will have the other teams cheerleaders soaking wet the entire game. The “swoon” factor isn’t limited to the ladies though, it applies to referees as well. If Craft makes eye contact with any ref before tip off it’s over and once those rosy cheeks get going….forget about it.
-Ohio State gives up around 58.9 points per game and is holding opponents to 42% shooting from the field. Defense wins championships and the Buckeyes have the ability to put the best defensive team in the nation on the court at any given time. its obvious they have just been toying with teams in the regular season. We fully expect this team to be in shut down mode during this tourney run. The D that will be played in the tournament was the same that you just saw on Tuesday verse Indiana, baller.
- A guy who can fill it up. Stephen Curry, Wally Szczerbiak, Kemba Walker ring a bell. These guys were like Kim Kardashian and could put four guys on their back and take all the shots. The Buckeyes have Deshaun Thomas, who has shown he can go on runs in the NCAA Tournament. Last year in the Buckeyes run up to the Final Four Thomas shot 52% from the field while averaging 21.8 ppg and 8.5 rpg. There is not a shot that D-Train won’t take and during the tourney he’s going to be more of a handful than Ron Jeremy.
-Slam Thompson provides the kinds of plays that energize a team and can lead to instant momentum. Whether it’s a lob on an in-bound play, a windmill on a fast break, or posterizing some fool for an and one, a Slam Thompson dunk could turn around a sluggish Buckeye offensive night. Don’t believe us. Just watch these videos and try not to get sexually aroused.
- The Matta Factor. This team has been there, done that. They have, under coach Matta, made several appearances in the tournament and made some nice runs. Last years Final Four was no fluke and it all starts with Matta’s ability to get his teams ready for March. Thad has a winning percentage of 64% in his 25 tournament games (16-9). March is where you make that money and nobody knows that more that Coach Matta.
-They have gotten their bad stretch out of the way. From 2/5/-2/17 they lost three out of four games and looked completely lost at times. Craft has figured out that he can take about anybody he wants off the dribble and the defense is back to its bruising self. This Buckeye team is starting to get hot and winning in March is about clicking at the right time.
-All those stats and reasons are nice but probably the biggest reason The Ohio State University will win the National Championship is because WE didn’t lose to Penn State. Fuck Michigan, you’re out in the first round bitches.
