Q: You were out at the Opening recently how was that experience for you?
A: It was amazing, the gear, my team, the coaching. It was fun, informative, and eye opening to the kind of competition I’m going to face every snap in the near future.
Q: What have you been been working on this offseason for this upcoming senior season and your future at OSU?
A: I have been getting stronger, working on keeping a wide base as I’m blocking, and firing out quicker, faster, and harder.
Q: You’re a local boy from Lancaster just about 30 minutes from campus, was this a dream of yours to run out of the Shoe on a fall Saturday?
A: Yes it was, but when I started my recruitment I left dreams and aspirations out of my decision making process. It just so happened to work out that way
Q: What really just sold you on OSU and knew it was the place for you?
A: The fact that the OL coach, Ed Warriner, will be the coach that will get me to the NFL. He won assistant coach of the year award last year.
Q: What are your personal and team goals for Lancaster this year?
A: Personal, just being the best leader and player u can for the other kids. Team to go 7-3 or better.
Q: What was the feeling like telling the coaching staff you were committing to the Buckeyes? What was their reaction?
A: My life almost felt complete haha and Coach Meyer hugged me haha that was awesome!
