The Ohio State Buckeyes have just landed a monster commit in Texas offensive lineman Demetruis Knox. Knox commits just about a month after they landed offensive lineman Jamarco Jones. Who is the bigger commit you ask? I feel they are equally important. Both are elite prospects that bring talent and much needed depth to Columbus. Knox last month named UCLA his leader after a visit to Los Angeles. We have always felt that he would still land in Columbus after the UCLA visit knowing that he always liked the Buckeyes a lot prior to that UCLA visit and he was going to make a trip back to campus this summer. Knox has an offer list that is second to none. He holds offers from all over the country from some of the most storied names in college football. He is a top ten guard with elite intangibles. With the right development, like Jones, I see Knox contributing to the Buckeyes early in his career. Knox, by his senior year could end up being a three year starter for the Buckeyes with aspirations of playing in the NFL. I am very high on Knox and think the Buckeyes got a special one coming to Columbus in 2014. Coach Urban Meyer continues to build good depth along the offensive line with this 2014 class. This is a monster commit for the Buckeyes and they look to add to this commitment throughout the recruiting process.
